Lake Odessa Girl Falls To Her Death

Bernice Hulliberger, an employee at J. W. Knapp store in Lansing, fell down the 
stairs as she reached her home early Friday morning when she returned from a 
card party she had attended with a Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Merrill of that city.  
As she was ascending the stairs to her apartment on the second floor at 700 ½ 
S. Pine street she apparently lost her balance.

Miss Hulliberger’s early life was spent in the vicinity of Lake Odessa but she 
had been employed at the J.W. Knapp store for 16 years it is stated.  She was 
30 years old.

She was a sister of Mrs. Merritt Wade of Muskegon, formerly of Lake Odessa.

The funeral was held at Lansing with burial at Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa, 
Monday afternoon.
