Ionia Shopper's Guide - Jan. 28, 2012

Phyllis Lillian Hummel, aged 74, of Portland, passed away January 20, 2012. She 
was born June 27, 1937 in Sparta, the daughter of Irving and Marie (Johnson) 
Greux. She married Harold Hummel, April 28, 1954 in Lake Odessa. Phyllis was a 
member of Living Gospel of Lake Odessa.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Harold; sons, Perry (Pam) 
Hummel of Clarksville, Jeff (Vickie) of Delton, Joe Hummel of Portland, and 
Greg (Colleen) of Florida; daughter Penny (Mike) Daugherty of Portland; 16 
grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Bunny) Kelly of Ste. 
Saint Marie, and Jack Kelly of Ste. Saint Marie; sisters, Margaret Cowen of 
Ste. Saint Marie, and Grace Kelly of Ste. Saint Marie. She is preceded in death 
by her mother, father and sister, Rita Miller.

Memorial services were at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Anyone wishing may make
