Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 Nov 1986

John R. Hummel, six weeks, infant son of Michael and Rose Barner Hummel of 340
Charlotte Highway, Portland, died Nov. 22 in a Lansing hospital.  

He is survived by his parents and a twin brother, Keith Michael, at home.  Also
surviving are his grandparents, Max Barner of Grand Ledge and Mary Ramsey of
Florida, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hummel of Lansing.  His great grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hummel of Lake City and Mrs. Walter Hummel of Jackson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Neller Funeral Home with
the Rev. Thomas Boufford of St. Patrick’s Church officiating.  Burial will be in
Portland Cemetery.
