Lois Gail Hummel, age 48, of Fenwick, passed away Monday, September 19, 2005 
in Bloomer Twp. She was born September 27, 1956 in Flint the daughter of 
Harold and Beverly (Brandt) Wyant. Lois married Michael Hummel February 24, 
1979. She was a member of Vestaburg Community of Christ Church. She was also 
involved in a mentoring program in Crystal Elementary Schools.

Lois is survived by her loving husband Michael Hummel of Fenwick; children 
Doyle (Max) Dustin of Fenwick, Melissa Hummel of Hubbardston, Michael Hummel 
of Fenwick; Mother Beverly Wyant of Ludington; brother Lynden Wyant of Custer; 
sister Leann and Doug Mahinski of Hart, Barbara and Timothy Storm of 
Scottville; father and mother-in-law Clifford and Jeannette Hummel of Ionia; 
sister-in-law Pam Edwards of Ionia; grandchildren Logan, Austin, Kayleigh, 
Layla and Joshua. She was preceded in death by her father in 2002 and her 
sister-in-law Cindy Wyant.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at Shiloh Community Church 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Wednesday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Anyone 
wishing may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or St. 
Mary's Hospice.
