The Portland Observer, Thursday, January 28, 1937

Funeral services were held Friday at the home north of Sunfield for Mrs. 
Jennie Hummell, 54, wife of George Hummell, of Sebewa.  Mrs. Hummell died 
after an illness of several years.  Surviving besides the husband are one 
daughter Mrs. Edna Hooker, of Lansing, and two sons, Guy and Vern of Sunfield.
