BABY KILLED WHEN HORSES RUN AWAY

Berton Hummell, year old son of Mr and Mrs Marion Hummell, was killed instantly 
Tuesday afternoon when the team of horses Mrs. Hummell was driving became 
frightened and ran away.

Dashing around a corner the wagon was overturned and the child hurled against a 
tree. Mrs.Hummell and a 4-year-old were thrown from the wagon and slightly 
injured.

The funeral was held Thursday forenoon. That the four year old child is not 
expected to live is reported.
