Deceased had lived to the ripe age of 97 years; she was a woman highly esteemed in the neighborhood where she had lived more than 40 years. She came to Berlin from Boston, Mass., in 1839. She was born in Wentworth, Nova Scotia, and was endowed with a wonderful vigor, which she maintained almost to the end. The children who survive her are Mrs. Bernard Kilmartin, Orange; Mrs. R.D. Caine, Ionia; Mrs. Edward Caine, Millington; Frank Humphreys, Ionia. Funeral services were held this morning at St. Patrick’s church in Portland, and the body was taken to Berlin for burial in Letts cemetery.
