Ionia Standard, 1 Jan 1892

James Humphreys died Saturday night, of pneumonia, at his residence on East
Washington street.  He was 47 years of age, and a cousin of James Humphreys, the
well known dealer in musical merchandise.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Highland Park cemetery.]
