The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, October 21, 1950

Sarah Johnston Humphrey, 86, of 554 Harrison street died at the Ionia county 
home Friday at 1 a.m.  She was born April 7, 1864 in Milwaukee, Wis.

Sole survivors are a nephew, Raymond Cook, of Ionia; a niece, Madeline Peters, 
of Detroit and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Myers funeral home.  
Interment will be in Balcom cemetery.
