The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, September 20, 1968
Rev. Lester C. Bailey of First united Methodist church officiated at funeral 
services in Ionia Wednesday for R. George Humphrey, who died Saturday.  
Interment was at Orleans cemetery.  Bearers were Roy Weber, W. G. Hawley, 
Richard Matson, John Toutenhoofd, Raymond Coon and Dr. L. D. Benedict.

Persons from out of town attending were Mr. and Mrs. Blain Humphrey, Duane and 
Linda, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Willett, Mrs. Josephine Maleitzke and Mr. and Mrs. 
Dave Smith, Mrs. Mildred Wells Denesuk and Mrs. Erika Denesuk of Lansing; Mr. 
and Mrs. Ernest Humphrey of Perry, Mrs. William Chapman and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin 
Dershem all of California; Mrs. Addie Berry of Middleton, Mrs. Stanley Michael 
of Big Rapids, Mrs. Beatrice Ross of St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Humphrey 
of St. Clair, Mr. and Mrs. Oral B. Bigelow of Alma and Rev. and Mrs. Henry 
Powell of Davisburg.
