The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 23, 1972
Mrs. Blanche E. Hunsberger, 82, widow of Glenn Hunsberger, grand Rapids, died 
Sunday at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lyle of Ionia.  Surviving are three 
daughters, Mrs. Melvin Alyea of Scottville, Mrs. Milton Blanding of Stanton, 
Mrs. Calvin Deardorff of Albany, Georgia; son, Paul of Midinah, Illinois; 13 
grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; sister, Lorene Overholt; four brothers, 
Myron, Dean, Lawrence and Vernon Overholt all of near Grand Rapids.  

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at VanStrien-Alman funeral home at 
1833 Plainfield NE, Grand Rapids.  Rev. Barney Roepcke will officiate and 
interment will be at Fairplains cemetery at Grand Rapids.  Family will be at 
the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  A memorial has been 
established for a scholarship fund.
