He was born Oct. 19, 1945, in Lakeview, the son of Harmon and A. Virginia Hill Hunsicker. He graduated from Greenville High School class of 1964 and was employed at General Motors Lansing Assembly for the past 34 years. He married Sherry S. Calhoun, in Greenville, on Nov. 6, 1965. Jack was a special family man who worshiped and enjoyed his family dearly. He beamed over his grandchildren even more than his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed being with his family at the lake and on the water. He is survived by his wife, Sherry; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacque and Bill Harris of Belding and Kim and Jim Arehart of Racine, Wis.; four grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Harris, Julia Mae Harris, Billy Jack Harris and Samuel Joseph Arehart; his mother, Virginia of Greenville; his brothers and their wives, William and Paula Hunsicker of Springfield, Tenn. and Max and Shirley Hunsicker of Greenville; his in-laws, LaVera and Denny Griffis of Roscommon, Lynn and Susan Calhoun of Grand Rapids, and Dennis and Beverly London of Gowen; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harmon on Jan. 26, 1993, and his bother-in-law, Ron London on Oct. 22, 1999. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with the Rev. William Overton, of Family Life Center Church of God, officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Family Life Center Church of God or Renucci Hospitality House at Butterworth Campus.
