The Lake Odessa Times, Wednesday, December 30, 1903

Mrs. W. S. Hunt, the wife of an old and respected citizen of Sebewa, died at 
her home near West Sebewa, last Wednesday night, at the age of 66 years and 
eleven days.  Her death was due to a complication of diseases from which she 
had been almost a constant and patient sufferer for two years past.

Mrs. Hunt was born in New York on December 12, 1837, and was married to Mr. 
Hunt in 1880, and their life though darkened by trouble and sorrow such as 
fall to all of us, has been a happy one and the husband has the sympathy of 
the entire community, in his loss of a loving  helpmeet and companion.  The 
funeral was held at the Rosina Baptist church, last Saturday, Rev. Herring of 
Nashville, officiating.  The remains were interred in the little cemetery 
adjoining the church.
