The Ionia Standard, Friday, March 16, 1888

Mrs. Mary Hunt of Easton, a sufferer from bronchial consumption, died on the 
10th inst.  Mrs. Hunt was born in Sodus township, Wayne county, New York, in 
April, 1835, was married to Joseph Hunt in 1853, emigrated to this country in 
1872, and after an intimate acquaintance of over 20 years, the writer can 
truly say, that Mrs. Hunt was a true, devoted and affectionate wife and 
mother, a kind and sympathetic friend, a conscientious and consistent 
Christian, one whose loss will be deeply felt.  The family have the sympathy 
of all acquaintances.
