Portland—Clifford C. Hunt, 80, of 231 Grant, died Friday at Sparrow hospital 
in Lansing.  He was born January 2, 1895, in Mecosta county.  He was a self 
employed auto mechanic 20 years and had worked for the City of Portland 15 
years.

A son Donald Hunt preceded him in death in 1960.  Survivors include a son 
Theron (Bud) Hunt of Portland; daughter, Mrs. Donabelle Tomlanovich of 
Lansing; four grandchildren and a sister, ROMs. Marie Bates of Dimondale.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Neller funeral home in Portland.  
Rev. Harold Homer of the Portland Untied Methodist church will officiate and 
interment will be at Portland cemetery.  Bearers will be Donald VanAmburg, 
Robert Meyers, Michael Hyland, Robert Fish, Arthur Fisher and Frank Stewart.
