Edson H. Hunt, 85 years of age, died at the home of his son, Herman, in Detroit
Tuesday morning, February 2, following a short illness.  Mr. Hunt was born in
Saranac and following his marriage in 1880 to Harriet Evelyn White resided on a
farm just east of Saranac until 1915, when they went to Arizona to visit their
two daughters.  Later they returned to Ann Arbor where they made their home
until Mrs. Hunt’s death, April 3, 1936.  Since that time Mr. Hunt has resided in
Ann Arbor and Detroit with his sons.

Surviving are six children, John Herman of Detroit, Ormond D. of Ann Arbor, Don
H. of Willard, Ohio, Miss Suzanna E. Hunt and Mrs. Agnes Parke of Phoenix,
Ariz., and Miss Vera Hunt of Hartsdale, New York, eleven grandchildren, a
brother, Judge Ormond Hunt of Detroit, and a sister, Miss Lizzie Hunt of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held at the Saranac Methodist church Friday afternoon,
February 5, and 2 o’clock with burial at the family lot in the Saranac cemetery.
 Rev. T.H. Smith of Grand Rapids, assisted by Rev. Frank Loomis of Saranac, will
conduct the service.
