Hunt, 51, 8707 Huckleberry Ave., died unexpectedly at St. Lawrence Hospital Sunday. He had worked for the Michigan Conservation Department and the Department of Natural Resources for more than 20 years. He was a Capt. in W.W.II and was awarded the bronze star for meritorious conduct in action on July 10 and 11th 1944. He also served in the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Nadyne; two daughters, Janice and Dianne, both at home; one son, Edward at home; and his mother Mrs. Francis Hunt, Portland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 1969 from the Neller Funeral Home with Rev. Bayles officiating, burial will be in the Portland cemetery.
