Floyd Hunt Died Sunday

Funeral services for Floyd Hunt, 76, of Clarksville were held Wednesday at 2 PM 
at the Clarksville Bible Church with burial in the Bowne Center Cemetery. Mr. 
Hunt passed away Sunday afternoon at the Grand Rapids Osteopathic hospital 
following a six weeks illness with a heart ailment.

He was a native of Bowne township and lived at Alto for many years where he 
owned and operated a hotel before moving to Clarksville engaging in muck farming 
and buyer.

Mr. Hunt spent his winters at Lake Como, Florida, for a number of years and 
before returning home this year traveled through Texas, California, and the 
World Fair at Seattle.

Surviving are his wife, Loretta; two daughters Mrs. Lillian Davis of Grand 
Rapids and Mrs. Adeline Kiel of Lowell; a son Maynard of Clarksville, present 
postmaster; a sister Mrs. Marguerite Porrit of Alto; step-children and grand and 
great grandchildren.
