The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 4, 1954
Mrs. Cora Hunt died Sunday January 3 at her home in Saranac.  Mrs. Hunt was 
born in Michigan June 14, 1876, the daughter of Jerome and Betsy Ann Austin 
Barber.  She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Willard Hunt, of 
California.  Mrs. Hunt was educated in Saranac schools and was a rural school 
teacher for many years until her marriage to Mr. Hunt who was cashier of the 
Saranac bank until his death.  She was a member of the former Saranac Women’s 
club, the O.E.S. and the Community church.  

Funeral will be held Tuesday, January 5, at 2:30 p.m. from Morris funeral 
home.  Burial will be at Saranac cemetery with the Rev. Glenn McCarty 
officiating.
