On a stormy Wednesday night, August 22, 2007 Paul James "Jim" Hunt went to 
rest with the Lord in eternal peace following an extended illness.  Jim was 
born July 25, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of Paul Edward and Marye’ 
Anne Thorndill Hunt.  Jim enjoyed playing cards, cooking, grilling and 
watching movies, especially westerns.  More recently, he enjoyed sending and 
receiving cards and letters from family and friends.   

Jim is survived by his children, Julie Anne and Kurt Thomas of Belding,  Jim 
and Kelly Hunt of Belding and Jeff Hunt of California.  He is also survived by 
two grandchildren, Dylan and Rachel Hunt of Belding; two brothers,  Tom and 
Tina Hunt of California and Terry Hunt of Florida, one sister,  Judy (Hunt) 
Hamblin of Ionia,  and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded by his 
parents.  

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, 
September 4 at Shiloh Community Church.  Pastor Ken Harger will officiate.  
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family 
entrusted services to the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
