EXCERPTS FROM OBITUARY:

John E. Hunter, aged 83 of Lake Odessa, died Tuesday January 30, 1958 at the 
Veterans' Hospital in Battle Creek.

Born in Adrian and former resident of Detroit, moved to Lake Odessa to farm 
about 1927.

Married Mary K. Gerkey June 22, `1921 in Detroit

Spanish American War veteran

Survived by his wife; one brother, Roy M. of Detroit, and several nieces and 
nephews.
