Joyce E. Hunter, 57, Belding, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 1996, at Butterworth
Hospital.  She was born Jan. 19, 1939, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Herman
and Ione Goldner Gilleo.  She was employed at the Housing and Urban Development
Office in Grand Rapids for 10 years.

She was married June 18, 1960, at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., to Delbert Hunter.  He
survives along with her children Deborah Hunter of Grand Rapids, Sheryl and Todd
Frisbie, David and Jeff Hunter, all of Belding, Laura Hunter of Greenville;
three grandchildren, Stephanie and Nickolas Frisbie, Felicia Hunter; and one
brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Mary Gilleo of Newago.  She was preceded in
death by her parents and one brother, Lyle Gilleo.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be in
Plainfield Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
