The Ionia sentinel-Standard, Saturday, August 30, 2014


Violet Joyce (Wolf) Hunter, age 80, of Saranac, passed away August 28, 2014 in 
Ionia.  She was born February 23, 1934 the daughter of Willard and Dorthea 
(Jaffke) Wolf. 

Violet married David Hunter on March 1st, 1952 in Shelbyville.  He passed away 
in 2003.  She was a member of the Eastern Star. 

Violet is survived by her son, Brian (Trenia) Hunter of Saranac; grandchildren, 
Krista Hunter of Saranac and Spencer (Audra) Hunter of Lowell.  She was 
preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Hunter; son, Keith Hunter; 
brothers, Don & Bob; and sister, Gerry. 

Memorial Service will be held graveside on Saturday, September 6, 12 p.m. at 
Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements made by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
