Hunter, 70, a resident of Keene all of his life with the exception of the last few years of his residing in Saranac, died Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ray Hoskins, of Keene. He had been in poor health for two years following an operation but critically sick only two weeks. He died of bronchial pneumonia. The funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock with Rev. E. H. Humphrey in charge. The burial will be in the Saranac cemetery. Mrs. Hunter died several years ago, and while he had retained his home in Saranac since her death, he had spent a great deal of time with his daughter and with his son, L. G. Hunter, of Saranac, his only children. He also leaves three grandchildren, and two brothers, Albert of Mr. Clemens and Frank of Lowell. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.
