Mrs. Grace Hunter, 51, wife of Vine Hunter of Lowell, died early Saturday 
morning in a Grand Rapids hospital following a few days’ illness of spinal 
meningitis.  She was born in Keene township and lived in the vicinity of 
Saranac until about 15 years ago when they moved to Lowell.  She was education 
in the rural schools of Keene township and Saranac high school.  She was a 
member of the Eastern Star, the Rebekah lodge and of the Past Noble Grand 
association and had kept her membership in the Saranac lodges until a few 
years ago when she transferred to the Lowell lodge.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Leo Boler of Detroit and 
Mrs. Carl Longstreet of Grand Rapids, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the 
residence in Lowell.
