Hunter, who was born in Keene township January 3, 1853, died in Lowell Sunday morning after having lived in Ionia county continuously for 77 years, and two years in Lowell. Funeral services will be conducted at the home in Lowell Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in the Pinckney cemetery, Keene. His first wife died several years ago, and two years ago he married again, his widow surviving. At the time of his death he owned the farm across the road from the one on which he was born, being in the vicinity which he had lived the greater part of his life. On this farm lives two of his surviving sons, Harley and Jesse, the third son, Vine, being a resident of Lowell. He also leaves four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and also a brother Albert, of Mt. Clemens.
