Hunter, 77, who died Sunday morning after two years of illness following a paralytic stroke suffered more than two years ago. Death came at her residence in Berlin township the vicinity in which she had been a lifelong resident. Burial was in Saranac cemetery. She was one of a family of seven children born to Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Monks, earlier settlers in Saranac, and was the last survivor of the family. She is survived by her husband, Cass Hunter, two daughters, Mrs. John Spicer, Lake Odessa and Mrs. Albert Faulkner, Berlin and two sons, Howard, who lives at home and Vern, Lake Odessa.
