IONIA- Jennie E. Huntley, 88, of Ionia, died Tuesday morning at the Ionia Manor.

She was born September 30, 1904 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Fred 
C. and Elizabeth Parker Waters and lived there for a brief time before coming 
to Ionia.

She married Clayton L. Huntley, December 13, 1926. He preceded her in death in 
1981. She was graduated from Ionia High School and had worked at A.C. Sparkplug 
during World War II.

She was a member of Women of the Moose and the Needlecraft Club.

She is survived by o ne won, James E. Huntley of Ionia; three grandchildren, 
Martin J., Scott W., and Steven C. Huntley; six great grandchildren; two 
brothers, Royce Waters of Ionia and Glenn Waters of Midland; and nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral and committal services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral 
Home, Ionia, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.

The family will be at the Rich St. Chapel from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be in the Easton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dorrance Hurlbut; David Siedelman; George D. Potter; and 
Martin J. Scott W., and Steven C. Huntley.

Memorials have been established for the Ionia County Commission on Aging and 
the Ionia Helping Hands, in care of the funeral home.
