Donna Jean Huntley, of Ionia, age 76, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed
away on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008.  She was born on April 25, 1932 in Wayland,
Mich. the daughter of Chester and Grace (Helmer) Larsen.  She worked for the
Hilton-Cooper Agency and now the Carr Agency in Ionia for over 30 years, first
in insurance and then in real estate.  She was very active in Cub Scouts, being
the den mother for many years.  Donna truly enjoyed her grandchildren and
spending time with them.  She loved camping, traveling, animals and cooking for
her family.  She was a big Ionia Free Fair fan and enjoyed watching game shows
on television.  She married James Huntley on Sept. 25, 1954 and together they
shared 54 years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Chester and Dave
Larsen.  Surviving are her husband, James Huntley; 3 sons, Martin (Candace)
Huntley of Sheridan, Scott (Sheila) Huntley of Tennessee and Stephen (Catherine)
Huntley of Grand Rapids; 6 grandchildren, Casie, Amanda, Monica, Chad, Amy and
Bryan; siblings, Beatrice (Dale) Hauter of Saranac, Charles (Dixie) Larsen of
Saranac and Victor (Sharon) Larsen of Ionia and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger at 11 a.m.
Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St.,
Ionia with interment following at Easton Cemetery.  The family will receive
friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 p.m. on Sunday.  For
those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia County Animal
Shelter or to the Ionia Area Hospice in memory of Mrs. Donna J. Huntley.
