Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Sep 1981

Clayton L. Huntley, 75, of 515 Beresford St., Ionia, died Friday afternoon in
Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids.  He was born Nov. 4, 1905, in Harvard, Ill.,
the son of Lewis and Bessie Gates Huntley.  He was married to Jennie E. Waters
on Dec. 15, 1926, in Grand Rapids.

Employed for 19 years by Ionia County Road Commission, he was employed by
Butterworth Theatre for 25 years.  He was a member of the Ionia Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife; one son, James, of Ionia; one sister, Blanche
Sorenson of Bradenton, Fla.; and three grandsons, Martin, Scott, and Steven
Huntley.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Myers-Roetman funeral home,
the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  A memorial has been established for the
American Heart Fund, in the care of the funeral home.  The family will be at the
funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
