HAROLD E. J. HUNTLEY
CLARKSVILLE-Harold E.J. Huntley, 50, of 11183 Nash Highway, Clarksville died 
Oct. 4, at Pennock Hospital in Hasting's.

He was born May 4, 1930 in Sterling, Ill. the son of Frank and Martha 
(Simkins) Huntley.

He graduated from Edmore High School in 1948.

After graduation, he joined the Army for four years, serving in Korea. After 
his discharge from the service, he joined the National Guard and served as a 
recruiter.

He lived in Central Lake, Traverse City and Grand Rapids before moving to 
Clarksville in 1972.

He was a member of the Jackson-Mutschler VFW Post, the Eagles Lodge No 3782 
of Woodland.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one son, Frank of Grand Rapids; three 
daughters Mrs Ron (Rhonda) Ouderkirk of Hudsonville, Mrs Mark (Karen) Ward of 
Cedar Springs, and Mrs Robert (DeeAnn) Binnton of Grand Rapids; one stepson 
William Jolling of Clarksville; two step-daughters, Mrs Kimberly Mazzola of 
Clarksville, and Linda Jolling of Grand Rapids; his parents, Mr and Mrs Frank 
Huntley; two brothers, Donald of Cleveland and David of Dorr, Mich., three 
sisters, Mrs Wade (Frances) Nutter of Oregon, Mrs Robert (Phyllis) Biggs of 
Byron Center, and Mrs Donald (Jean) Greenhoe of Marysville, Mich.; and three 
grandchildren.

The family will greet friends and relatives Oct.6 at the Pickens-Koops 
Funeral Chapel in Clarksville.

Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids.

A memorial has been established for the Heart Fund. Envelopes are available 
at the chapel.
