Saranac Woman and Ionia Man, Mrs. Jennie Huntley and William Wisner, Die Friday

Mrs. Jennie Huntley, wife of A. W. Huntley, who has been in the retail drug 
business in Saranac for the past 50 years, died at her home Friday morning at 
2:30 following a two week illness of cancer the last two months of which has 
been spent in bed and under the care of a trained nurse. Mrs. Huntley was the 
daughter of Dr. and Mrs. H. H. Huntley and was born in Saranac, August 31, 
1861. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star chapter of Saranac. 

Her son was drowned in Grand river 30 years ago. She leaves her husband and a 
daughter, ------------(Unreadable section)----------------
N.Y. also two sisters, Miss Blanche Powers, who lives in the old Powers 
homestead Saranac, and Mrs. Eunice Strickland of Rochester, N.Y. and a brother, 
Elmer Powers of Denver, Colo. She left one great-granddaughter, Augusta Ulp.

The funeral arrangements will be made as soon as a message can be received from 
relatives in the distant states.
