Huntzinger, 61, died Monday evening at Pennock hospital in Hastings after an illness of several weeks. Born in Freemont, Ohio, he moved to Lake Odessa in June, 1919, where he went into business with Floyd Gates in the Ford Service company. September, 1926, he was married to Mrs. Anna Anway Cummins of Lake Odessa. He was executor of the estate of his sister, Olive B. Huntzinger, who had owned a hat shop in Lake Odessa. After her death, he continued running the hat shop. He was a member of the school board and took an active part in all civic projects. He was a member of the masons, Consistory, Shrine, Eastern Star and the Congregational church. He is survived by his wife, Anna; one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Lotz of Grand Rapids; two brothers, John Huntzinger of Ottawa Lake, William Huntzinger of Detroit; one sister, Mrs. Leona Lay of Toledo, Ohio; one grandchildren, Charles Baird of Lake Odessa. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Wortley and Baine funeral chapel in Lake Odessa.
