Hastings Reminder - 29 June 1995
Lillian Bernice (Russell) Hurlbert, 68, of Lake Odessa, passed away on 
Thursday, June 29, 1995 at her residence.  She was born on May 9, 1927 in Lake 
Odessa, the daughter of John and Mary Jane (Collins) Waldren.  She attended 
Lake Odessa Schools.  She was married to Clyde Russell and Don Hurlbert, both 
of whom preceded her in death.  Mrs. Hulbert was employed for several years at 
the Lake Odessa Canning Company.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Lyle Waldren and one sister, 
Vivian Kimmel. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Russell and Albert Russell both 
of Lake Odessa; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Vada 
Bailey of Shelbyville, Ellen Miler of Lowell, Leona Hussema of Lake Odessa, 
Reatha Cooper of Ionia; one brother, Douglas Waldren of Lansing.

Funeral services were held on Saturday July 1, 1995 at the Koops Funeral chapel 
in Lake Odessa with Reverend Ward Pierce officiating.  Burial was in Lakeside 
Cemetery in Lake Odessa.  Arrangements were made by Koops Funeral Chapel in 
Lake Odessa.
