Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, Sept. 26, 1981

IONIA- Rose E. Hurlbut, 66, of 218 W. Lincoln Ave. Ionia, died Friday in 
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

She was born March 1, 1915, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Henry and Evelyn 
McNaughton Cameron.

She lived most of her life in Ionia. She was married to Oliver Hurlbut in New 
York in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1953.

She worked at American Auto Felt and at Chrysler Trim Plant for 20 years, 
retiring in 1975.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. LaMarr (June) Castle, on e niece, Mrs. 
Dwaine (Chris) of Fenwick, and one nephew, H. James Davis of Ionia.

Funeral mass will be Monday at 2 p.m. from SS. Peter and Paul Church, the Rev. 
Henry Dondzila celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Rosary service will be at Leddick Funeral Home Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

the family will be at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
