Neve said the car was traveling at a high rate of speed. Husted waS brought to the Ionia County Memorial hospital where he was found to have critical head and internal injuries, and was then removed to Blodgett hospital where his death occurred Sunday morning. The automobile was a total wreck. The body was brought Sunday to the Myers funeral home in Ionia. Husted was a graduate of the Ionia high School in the class of 1949, and was a former Sentinel-Standard carrier boy, distributing the Ionia daily newspaper in the eastern sections of Ionia. He is survived by his parents and a brother, Richard. Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home Wednesday afternoon with burial at Lyons cemetery.
