E. church Sunday, were largely attended. Rev. Mann preached a good sermon and appropriate music was rendered by G. A. Smith and son Hayden, Mrs. C. K. Bennett and Mrs. O. C. Townsend. The burial was under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge, of which the deceased was an active and devoted member. Archibald Huston was born in Scotland in 1826. He came to this country at the age of 25 years, lived four years in New York, and lived in Hubbardston and vicinity until his death on January 25, 1906. When the civil war broke out he enlisted in the 9th Michigan Infantry and served till the close of the war. In 1869 he was united in marriage to Maria Aldrich. In 1879 he was converted and united with the M. E. church, of which he was a faithful member. We wish to express our thanks and appreciation for the many kindnesses and tokens of sympathy in our recent affliction in the loss of our husband and grandfather; and also to the Masonic Lodge, and W. R. C. and M. E. church for floral tributes. Mrs. A.
