Lyons Herald, 28 Apr 1921

Mrs. Augusta Hutchings passed away last Thursday morning at her home in this 
village.  Funeral services were held from the home Saturday afternoon conducted 
by Rev. A.R. Mitchell of Ionia, interment in the Lyons cemetery.

Deceased had been a resident of Lyons for many years, until last spring when 
she sold her home on the west side of the river and went to Pontiac to keep 
house for her grandson, Stanley Hutchings.  She had been in poor health for 
some time and came back to Lyons a few weeks ago and with her sister, Mrs. Mae 
Patterson, to care for her, was living in the cement house owned by Darius 
Stone.  She is survived by one son, Frank W. Hutchings of Detroit.
