The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, August 24, 1953

Mrs. Ellen E. Hutchins, 71, of 175 East Main street died Sunday morning, 
August 23, at the Hawley Convalescent Home where she was a patient since 
December.  She was born November 6, 1881, in Mancelona.  Mr. and Mrs. Hutchins 
were associated in the restaurant business in Ionia for a number of years.

Surviving her are the husband, Charles; and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Balcom 
and Mrs. Harry Nelson of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home.  K. 
W. Stebbins will deliver the service.  Interment will be in the family lot, 
Highland Park cemetery.
