Ionia Sentinel - Thursday, Dec. 20, 1900

Dr. B.M. Hutchinson, father of Gen. F.S. Hutchinson of this city, died Thursday 
at his home in Lyons, at the advanced age of 85 years. Dr. Hutchinson was born 
at Willoughby, Ohio, in 1816 and is an old practitioner and one of the oldest 
residents of the county. The funeral was held at Lyons tomorrow

IONIA SENTINEL - DEC. 20 & 27, 1900 
Dr. Hutchinson, one of our oldest doctors, died last Wednesday, Funeral Sunday
