A former Ionia resident, Mrs. Izma B. Hutchins, 85, of 1142 West Broadway, 
Muskegon, died Thursday at the Mercy hospital in Muskegon.

Born in Ionia June 25, 1889, she was the daughter of Frank and Lela Stevenson.

She was the office manager for C. W. VanHouten many years before moving to 
Muskegon in 1958. She was a member of the First Christian church of Ionia.

Surviving are a son, Harold K. Hutchins and a daughter, Mrs. Velma Schafer, 
both of Muskegon; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Walburn funeral 
home at Muskegon. Rev. Roger Clifford of First Christian church of Ionia will 
officiate at graveside service in Ionia Saturday at 2:30 pm at the Highland 
Park cemetery.
