She was born on May 1, 1928 in Edmore, the daughter of Oscar and Gladys (Frisbie) Jensen. She married Robert Hyatt on June 2, 1988 in Ionia. She was a member of VFW in Lowell and she retired from Steelcase in 1995. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hyatt of Saranac; her children, Ruth (Chet) Toth of Ionia, John (Catherine) Randall of Rudyard, Harold Randall of Saranac, Bobbi Lunt of Saranac; one brother, Oscar Jensen Jr. of Plainwell; sisters, Lucille Wilson of Charlotte, Caroline (Jim) Newkirk of Berrien Springs; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Russell, two brothers, Don and Bill; sister, Ethel; one granddaughter; one great granddaughter and one daughter-in-law. Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Hyatt on Monday at 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with the Rev. Kirk Starkweather officiating. Interment will be at Easton Cemetery in Ionia. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 8:30 p.m. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to family choice.
