She was born May 18, 1933 in Webster, South Dakota, the daughter of Willis and Rose (Block) Fisher. She worked for Germaine’s in Saranac as a bartender and server for many years. Her motto was “Order what you want, take what you get and like it.” Georgia also loved Elvis. She is survived by her sons, Larry and Jane Fisher of New Mexico, Leslie Fisher, Lee Alan and Rose Fisher, Dana and Neva Werner, all of Arizona; Mark and Melinda Block of Flint, Scott Block of Florida; two daughters, Shelli Block and Greg Wilcox of Lake Odessa, Bobbi Hyatt of Saranac; one sister, Shirley and Jim Gandy of South Dakota; 16 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Sonny. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Saranac Community Church with Rev. Wade Hatfield officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
