The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, April 20, 1926


Amos Hyde, prominent farmer living a mile and a quarter east of Palo, passed 
away at his home Monday evening at 7 o’clock following an illness lasting 
almost three months.  Death was due to liver trouble.

Mr. Hyde was about 68 years of age.  He had lived in the vicinity of Palo 
practically all his life.  He was a member of the Palo I.O.O.F. lodge.

Besides his widow he is survived by three brothers, Bert Hyde, of Alma; Louis 
Hyde, who lives at Highland, and Marvin Hyde, who lives in New York.  Funeral 
plans had not been completed Tuesday.
