Lake Odessa Wave - Times -March 2, 1917
                 MRS. ALVIN HYDE BURIED HERE SAT.
                                    ----------
           FUNERAL WAS HELD FROM LOCAL HOME.  
      REV. L. L. STEADMAN PREACHING THE SERMON
   Mrs. Alvin Hyde, aged 64 years, died at her home here last week Thursday.  She
had been in poor health for 
many years, and had been a resident of Lake Odessa for about two years.
   The funeral was held from the house Saturday afternoon at 1:00. Rev. L. L.
Steadman preached a short 
sermon and the Congregational Men's quartette sang three songs.  The remains were
interred in Lakeside 
cemetery.
   The deceased was well known in the vicinity of Sunfield where she formerly lived,
and quite a number of 
people from that village attended the funneral
