Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Jan. 3, 2013

Charlotte R. Hyland, 74, of Portland, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012. She 
was born on June 8, 1938 in Ionia, the daughter of Ray and Daisy Belle (Thayer) 
Adams.

Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as attending 
Crossroads Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Bonnie Bryner; brother, Ray 
Adams.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Richard Hyland; children, 
Theresa “Terri” Castle, and Brian (Fiancée, Annette) Hyland; seven 
grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Adams; several 
nieces and nephews. 

The Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 
Crossroads Church, 13940 S. Grange Road, Eagle. The family will receive friends 
from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
