Dale was 22 years old and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hyland of this village. He enlisted early in the war and had been in France about nine months. The photograph was received recently by the young man’s mother and was taken in France. Hyland was listed in Sunday’s casualty report as having died of wounds.
