The Ionia County News, Thursday, May 16, 1935
Funeral services were held from the Church of Christ Sunday afternoon at two 
o’clock for Carol Hyland of Harrisville, who died at a Bay City hospital 
Friday evening from peritonitis caused from a ruptured appendix.  Rev. Paul L. 
Steward conducted the services.  Interment was at Highland Park Cemetery.
