He was born May 10, 1888, the son of John and Katherine Brumbaugh Hynes. His wife was the former Nettie Wheeler. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dale Main of Charlotte and Elva Hynes of Lansing; three sons, Lyle of Portland, Donald of Haslett and Neil of Redding, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother Frank of Hastings; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Guy and Mrs. Harold Smith both of Lake Odessa; one half-sister, Mrs. Mamie France of Woodland. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa. Burial will be at Woodland Memorial Park.
