The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Tuesday, April 7, 1959
John A. Hysell, 88, retired Belding railroad section foreman, died at his home 
in Belding Monday morning.  He had been ill only a short time.  He had lived 
in Smyrna for the past two years, moving there form Pierson.  Among the 
survivors is a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Sowers of Belding.

Funeral services will be held at Pierson Wednesday at 1 p.m.  Burial will be 
at Pierson cemetery.
